Accounting and Business Finance module at University of Kragujevac received international recognition

The Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac received an international accreditation of its bachelor studies module “Accounting and Business Finance” from the British Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) – the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification. This will make it easier for graduates of this Serbian university to obtain an international license as a chartered accountant.

ACCA has provided recognition of exams passed at the Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac and automatic exemption from five ACCA exams (F1-F4 and F9) for all students who complete their bachelor academic studies in the module Accounting and Business Finance starting from 2020.

With this accreditation, the Faculty of Economics received international confirmation of its efforts to improve the quality of studies and provide relevant and recognized knowledge by ACCA, as the most important institution in the field of education of accountants and auditors in the world. This module is currently available in Serbian language, but the University is considering the possibility to introduce it in English language, too.
